I recently came back from a trip to Gran Canaria. I had a chance to discover somewhere new and get some SCUBA diving in at one of the best spots in Europe. It was different from the Caribbean to say the least. For one thing, this was probably the nicest group of people I've had the pleasure to dive with in a very long time. This was definitely the highlight of the vacation.
There are fairly strong currents in the area which made for a challenging dive and somewhat murky conditions but well worth the effort.
My suggestion for a great dive experience while in the Canary Islands is definitely Davy Jones Diving
A very professional group if dive masters made the trip interesting and the rest of the group, all from Britain and Europe, were great company as well.
